It's hard to know how to be a good parent. And even when you think you have it all figured out, the kids change on you as they grow and enter into a new developmental stage. WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST SESSION
During your initial session, you and your therapist we will have the opportunity to work together to begin to understand what is really going on in your world. She will get to know you by asking questions about your unique concerns. She’ll help you identify what you want to work on in therapy. Together you will start to develop a plan that will assist you to reach your goals and discuss how you would like to integrate your faith in treatment if this is something you want. This will help individualize your experience and have a sense that your personal story is well understood and in return, you can feel confident that you are in the right place.
